The Strategic Engagement for Gender Equality 2016-2019 is coming to a conclusion. Steps are being taken to review the progress that has been made, envision future activities that might be required, and establish broad parameters for a future strategic framework for gender equality.

The seminar aims to build on this foundational work in order to explore the future strategic framework for gender equality that could now be pursued by the European Commission, through an open and forward-looking dialogue involving key European level policy-makers.
